The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is alarmed regarding the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day.
